Education - Open University Purchasing Department reduce costs with laser printing
Originally implemented to replace pre-printed 5 part stationery with laser copies, the automated printing and
distribution process was quickly expanded to incorporate AutoFORM’s online electronic archive system. Facsimile’s of
the original system generated purchase orders, can be electronically retrieved along with their associated scanned
paper documents, invoices, faxes and other files for viewing at the desk-top of all authorised buyers and business
managers via a web browser. BACS payments and purchase orders are despatched automatically via e-mail and fax.
